Worth a Thousand Words
World History Encyclopedia is a non-profit company publishing the world's most-read history encyclopedia. Our mission is to engage people with cultural heritage and to improve history education worldwide. We make history engaging and exciting, delivering the highest-quality articles on ancient history, videos, interactive maps, and news to millions of people from across the globe.
We publish many articles per week, and these articles need to be illustrated with photographs! We are looking for pictures of cultural heritage sites all around the world: ruins, temples, castles, cities, landscapes, and much more! We are not looking for holiday snaps; what we need are photos that truly illustrate a subject in high quality, ideally without distractions in the way.
Whether you've got great photos of sites near you or you have traveled and wish to share your work, you could publish on World History Encyclopedia to help our millions of readers better visualize and understand history.
This position is a volunteer role; you will not get paid for your work. If you can communicate well and you are able to devote at least six hours per week to this position, we’d like to hear from you.
